Natural spring-fed swimming hole in a cypress grove. One of the most beautiful spots in the Hill Country. Reservation required in summer — book at the City of Wimberley site before you go. Arrive early.

Best for: Nature, couples

Artesian spring that flows year-round. Iconic swimming hole with crystal-clear water. Very limited daily permits — book well in advance through Hays County. Worth the effort.

Best for: Nature, adventurous visitors

The town center — local art galleries, boutiques, restaurants, and the Wimberley Glassworks (watch glassblowing on-site). Easy half-day walk.

Best for: Shopping, couples

Creek swimming accessible from several public spots in town. Less crowded than Blue Hole, no reservation needed. Great backup.

Best for: Families

Historic settlement with shops, galleries, and live music on weekends. Small but worth an hour.

Best for: Casual

Watch master glassblowers work. Free to watch. One of the best artisan experiences in the Hill Country.

Wimberley Market Days — first Saturday of each month, March through December. Over 475 vendors. Arrive early. The biggest version (Marketfest) is in May.
