How it works
Three stops. The stories behind them.
Every crawl is the same core idea: three taco spots I actually eat at, in a private vehicle, with six people max so everyone fits and nobody gets left out of the conversation. You get the spots, the stories behind why I chose them, and about three hours of genuine San Antonio.
Stop one — the neighborhood joint
The place that's been there 30 years. Nobody talks about it online. The regulars have the same seat every Tuesday. This is where I start.
Stop two — the local legend
Known to San Antonians. Maybe a little press. Still doing what made it good before anyone noticed. Different neighborhoods, different nights.
Stop three — my current obsession
Changes monthly. Sometimes it’s new. Sometimes it’s something I rediscovered. Always something worth the trip.
