Not every kitchen in SA can handle twenty people walking in at once. These can — and most of them will do it well.
Boudro's Texas Bistro
Semi-private space, dependable kitchen.
Tableside guacamole and a real kitchen right on the water. Reliable for multi-course group dinners without a fuss.
Bohanan's Prime Steaks
Best steakhouse in SA, full stop.
The executive or VIP dinner. Dry-aged prime and service that earns the price — book 2–3 weeks ahead for a group room.
Paesanos Riverwalk
Italian with a real private room.
The Shrimp Paesano feeds a table of twelve as easily as two. Good private room options on the water.
Rosario's
Loud, festive, strong margaritas.
The Southtown institution for big groups. Call ahead — this is the room when the night should be loud.
Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery
The memorable one for out-of-towners.
House-brewed beer and a Gulf-inflected menu inside the old Pearl Brewery. High ceilings, real room for a crowd.
Booking tip
For groups of 12 or more, always call ahead — most SA restaurants don’t take large groups through an online reservation system. A phone call gets you the right private space, and a set menu if you want one.
